My new Topshop Dress

Topshop is not a shop I shop in much, mainly as I do feel its a bit overpriced for what it is.  Don't get me wrong they do have some lovely items and also some very weird ones!!!

On Bank Holiday Monday Mike and I were out and I popped into Topshop as I had seen this Pansy Print dress online and wanted to try it on as I loved the look of it.   Once I tried it on I had to have it.

It was only £29.00 which I think is good for Topshop!  I think it definitely suits me as I think its a dress for girls with boobs.  I love the sleeves and and the v-neck and its like a stretchy material so fits you really well.
Love this dress I just hope Topshop bring out some more in other colours.  I think I will wear it with tan sandals or wedges and also it looks great with black ankle boots.

Are you a fan of Topshop?

Bank Holiday Beauty Purchases

Happy Easter everyone.

Mike and I popped out today to Boots as I had to get a prescription and all the make up was 3 for 2 so it was a good excuse to buy few things I wanted.

But before I show you my beauty buys we also popped to B&Q were I prchased this Birdcage Lamp for our bedroom...its so pretty.

Anyway onto the beauty things.....

No7 Lash Impact Mascara, this has been highly talked about and the reviews so far are really good. This is retailing at £10.00 at the moment.  I needed a new mascara and was going to get my usual 17 one but thought I would try this instead. I will let you know what I think.

No17 Cheek Stamp,  I love this it looks so pretty and I love the fact it has the mirror on the top.
Maybelline Anti-age eraser under eye concealer, I am lucky in that I don't suffer with many bags and wrinkles...not just yet anyway but I have noticed my under eye area is thinning a bit!  I have heard great things about this as being a dupe for 'Touche Eclat' but a lot cheaper.  I tried some when I got home and I think its pretty good.

17 Quicker Colour nail varnish in Pink Lemonade, I love the colour of this for summer.
Soltan Beautiful Bronze Self Tan Lotion, this was on offer too.  This is my new favourite self tan I really love this and its not expensive.

I also got this Sleek make up bag free.

Well have a lovely weekend

New Look (Gift Card buys & sale buys)

Hiya everyone

Hope you are all having a lovely weekend.

This is a collective haul all from New Look, these items were purchased over the past month.

The first few items were purchased with a gift card I had at christmas :)

Crochet Bowler bag, as soon as I saw this bag online I knew I needed it.  Its just very me!  I am terrified of using it though as I don't want toget it dirty!

Coral Blazer,  I saw this on one of the sales assistants in New Look and thought it was gorgeous.  Its so nice, its like a stretchy cardigan fabric and the colour is just so pretty

Pink daisy earrrings - could not resist these as again I love pink.

Cream sequin scarf, a very pretty scarf I love the ornate detail to it.

Also in the sale I also purchased 3 dresses.
This one was £19.99 reduced to £11.00, I am sure you will see its very me! ha ha
This skater dress was £12.99 reduced to £5.00, I love the colour of this.
and also the one I put in my previous outfit post.

Have you been buying anything in the New Look sale?

Outfit Post: Family Meal

Hiya lovelies
Hope you are all having a nice weekend.

Last night we went out for a family meal to a little country pub not too far from us.  We go to this place quite a lot they serve lovely home cooked food like Shepherds Pie, Lasagne and Veggie Lasagne etc...what I call comfort warm food...the sort of food I really enjoy!
This was my outfit, all of these items were bought in the sale except for the belt which is from another dress.  This outfit cost around £23.00!

***double click photos to enlarge***
The dress  is from New Look and it was in the sale for £10.00 (its in my New Look haul coming up shortly!)
The nude blazer is from Primark, I bought it in the New Year sales for £7.00!
The nude heels were in the Matalan sale for £6.00.
I really liked this outfit :)

H&M purchases

Hiya everyone

Just wanted to say thank you so much for your kind wishes I am feeling better now just awaiting my appointment with the heart clinic!

A couple of weeks ago I popped into town and came home with a nice little haul and only spent £6.50!!! The reason for this was I had gift cards for H&M and New Look.  I will show you the New Look purchases in a seperate post.
I do love H&M although over the past couple of months were not that impressed with it however I do think they have some lovely items coming in for summer.

I purchased the following:

Cream Lace Front Cardigan,  I cannot explain to you how much I love this cardigan, it will look so pretty with a lot of my wardrobe.
Nude Pink Shirt Dress, I thought this looked quite boring on the hanger but looks can be deceptive!  I tried it on in the navy and the nude and to be honest I could have easily bought both.

This dress is lovely its so flattering and its a lovely length at just above the knees on me.
I love the little ruffle sleeves and its just a gorgeous dress and much better on me than on the hanger.
I also have a little nude bow waist belt which looks lovely with it as I am not keen on the string belt.

Black Flippy Textured Skirt, this is really cute and again not too short for me.  Its nice for work.

Take care
